Owner’s Agent

CSM acts as an Owner’s Agent when an owner wishes to remain moderately to very involved in the decisions of a project or multiple projects but would like CSM to act on their behalf utilizing our knowledge, experience and contacts to maximize outcomes for them. We work with our clients as Owner’s Agents to truly understand maintenance and construction needs, investigate maintenance and construction options, develop a scope, solicit bids, evaluate the bids, negotiate where necessary, coordinate and schedule work of subcontractors, supervise and correct errors, collaborate with any and all stakeholders as needed, and manage the entire process as needed to allow the owner or operator to stay in control while being guided by knowledgeable and experienced professionals.

General Contracting

When clients are looking for a largely hands-off approach where CSM manages a project in its entirety with an agreed upon budget and schedule, CSM’s general contracting service is the right service for you. CSM can develop an entire plan and budget for a project or ongoing service and execute the entire project plan with only minimal input and involvement if desired. Alternatively, we can customize your involvement as desired at certain stages and for certain key decisions. We develop an operating plan with you as a part of the onboarding process to really understand how we can best work with you to meet your needs with as little of your time as possible but as much as you need of ours to make sure we get the project right.

Consulting

Construction Systems Management offers a wide range of consulting services around building sciences and construction management that can be tailored to our client’s needs. When CSM itself does not have the expertise in-house that is required, it brings in outside advisors from our extensive network of construction professionals nationwide.
